Okay, my skull was fractured at birth, so I have a slightly off-kilter point to my head. Since I wear my hair all ONE length and long (halfway down my back) most people say they don’t notice… but when my hair was short, it was VERY noticeable.
So while I’ve considered a pixie cut when I was fed up with the upkeep, I could not pull it off.
I also used to bleach my hair a lot (all of that has been cut) and dye it black with cheapie permanent dye. I used a dye remover on it, which made it between light brown (roots) to dark dark brown (middle) to reddish brown (ends) and then, for no specific reason, I highlighted the hair around my face and at the back of my neck with Loreal color rays, in a fushia (which actually turned out BRIGHT PINK) and then Special Effects violet rose for the rest. So most of my hair is a brownish-reddish-purple, and my bangs are fading to a pinkish strawberry color.
I sort of want to cut my hair (at least an inch off, that’s the only real damage that is visible, although my hair is a little elasticy, but only barely) but with my face shape (a long, pointed chin, full face, rather large nose and small eyes that I’d like to bring out) and my pointy head, I’m not sure what I can do with it that won’t require me use heat on my hair (that’s why my hair is so healthy… I towel dry and never use hairdryers or curling irons/flat irons) or stay up late every night styling my hair, that I can manage quickly and easily (I’m a mommy, got no time for prettyfying) and still look attractive.
