Hi,
I’m 14 and I have really bad skin! I feel self conscious because I’m sure most girls my age don’t have to wear foundation. So I’d absolutely love to be able to walk out of the house or to school and not feel ugly. My skin is very red…I think it’s rosacea because its red in between my eyebrows, really red on my cheeks and chin. But my jawline is fine and stuff. The pores on my cheeks are HUGE! And so noticeable. I eat very healthy, my mom pretty much makes a healthy version of everything. every morning I take 2 fish oil supplements, a vitamin e supplement, and a multi vitamin. I don’t have bad acne at all, just the occasional pimple on my chin or by my nose. Anyway, so either way I feel self conscious. I don’t feel like myself under all this foundation. But I’ve been to school without it like last year and I got comments on it, like “do you have a fever? You look flushed” or just, “Your face is really red” (They we’rent trying to be mean) So I’m wondering what I can do? I use calming face washes and they don’t help all that much :/ My parents probably won’t take me to a dermatologist, because whenever I ask her to please pick me up some makeup remover or something for my hair she tells me to stop being so concerned about how I look, but It’s high school. So can anyone tell me what could help? I also have extreme facial flushing/ redness whenever I get embarassed. Anything inexpensive that can help? I’d really appreciate it!
