I live in a CONDO, for cryin’ out loud. I don’t even change the ballast on the flourescent lamp! I don’t WANT to cut the grass or root out the weeds. I have a really pretty little potted rose on the terrace and it completely satisfies the urge to garden.
So why do the ads for garden tillers, supercharged riding lawn mowers, electric hedge clippers with optional nose hair trimmers, and tree root feeder spikes make me leap for the wallet? Hey, there isn’t even any place to store that stuff if I did buy it.
Do you think they are using subliminal messages and manipulating our minds? Or do I need to put on the aluminum foil cap and block the ultrasonic waves from the NSA?
